Home Hardware Source

So last week I explored a new store in Bryan (well new to me anyway) chocked FULL of every kind of door and drawer knob, drawer pull, corbel, moulding, trim board, and home hardware imaginable!

Alco Sales has been around for almost a quarter of a century but is now under new ownership, and soon to be in a new location this winter!  Co-owners Jessie Taylor and Larry Roderick are expanding to make their products more accessible and shopping easier!

Need to update cabinet hardware?  How about a western theme?  Longhorns anyone?  Boots?  Or maybe a Texas star or western hat?  If not for your cabinets, then maybe for a special craft project?

Want to go for more color?  These hand-painted ceramic knobs would be perfect for hanging jewelry or even when giving a face-lift to a dresser or bedside table.

Did I mention rustic?  These are reminiscent of hardware rescued from an old farmhouse.  They would lend authenticity to antique furnishings and other period furniture!  What else can you see doing with these rings, pulls, bars and knobs?

Want to glam it up a bit?  Try the beaded look for an Italian or rustic chic look.  Square, round, rectangular,'s all here!

Celtic knots?  Sailor's knots?  Decorate the beach house with a nautical theme and add these "knots" to your decor!

Feeling fruity?  Athletic?  Whatever statement you want to make, you are sure to find it here.  Need inspiration? Come stroll the aisles and rooms of merchandise!

How long has it been since you've seen glass knobs? Beautiful reproductions will enhance any restoration project!  Need ideas? Pinterest and renovation magazines are FULL of ideas to get those creative juices flowing!

Looking to remodel or enhance your walls?  Alco has the best prices in town for decorative moulding!  Come in and let Jessie make some suggestions for piecing together some stunning looks.

Last but not least, what can you imagine with these corbels?  I have seen them as end-caps for pull-out spice racks, elegant shelf supports, and a great way to turn blahhh cabinets into ahhhh cabinets. Houzz has some great ideas!

Stay tuned for more exciting things you can find around BCS!  And stop by Alco and tell Jessie and Larry I sent you!
